The Consortium visit “Watt Connects”, a demonstration centre in the Netherlands

On October 24th, the Consortium visited the demonstration centre “Watt Connects” located in Arnhem (The Netherlands), invited by the Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias (IDEPA). This activity has been developed under the ATC4E project, a project aimed to improve the management of clusters in Europe by exploiting the Excellence Initiative of the European clusters (ECIS).

Watt Connects” is a reference centre on demonstration of electric smart grid technologies, created in Arnhem by the joint effort of several companies within the Cluster of Energy and Environmental Technology in the eastern region of the Netherlands (kiEMT).

The meeting with the Consortium was intended to share best practices on governance and fostering companies’ participation in the aforementioned clusters. In addition, innovative developments in the field of Smart Grids management were showed and discussed, exploring possible fields of cooperation between companies of both clusters.
